Our User Interface (UI)

  • Some notes about our User Interface (UI). Signup by accessing www://flakr.com/signup.
  • The UI supports smart phone, MS window-based desktops, workstations and tables, Apple IOS devices, some game consoles, some TVs and some wearables. Not all functions are supported on all devices. Full support is on smart phones and MS window-based devices.
  • UI device support (when microphone and speakers are available) encourages voice control – that is our stand. However, keyboard clicking is also supported.

Country Specific User Accounts

All accounts are country specific – meaning travel from one country to another (physically) means you must use a account enrolled in that country – and further, you can only have access to accounts you are physically present in. When user travels from one country to another – they are cut off from receiving or logging onto the originating country account – you can not contact them through messaging. In an emergency situation, businesses must contact their country support center in order to relay messages.

User Device Database

The user device stores all communications (unless the user delete them) in a user owned database. We do not keep user messages (nor do we keep businesses messages) – our Gateway provides connections and temporarily maintains a msg-id, res-id link lookup to facilitate  message exchanges. Device database spans across all of the actual user devices.

User Device Support For Chat Box

We keep tract of user device capabilities and can alert business in advance of available support for text, audio, images and video. For example, desktops may not have speakers.

Business Should SignUp

We encourage individual business to signup at Flakr.com. Enjoy the UI. Clever technical people could easily set up person-to-person business usage if they have access to the company business riles regarding message delivery.

Relaying Messages To Social Media

Not yet implemented – but at some point we intent to allow user messages to be parroted to social media. It is their property to share. Also, we intend to implement user to organization/group communication and user-to-user.
