- Chat Box enables real-time, one-on-one connections – initiated by businesses to directly connect with users.
- When the important moment calls for it, having a personal video or audio conversation is required.
- Chat Box sessions can include text, audio, video, and other media – based on the company’s preferences. Technically, they can take place as text-to-text, voice-to-voice, or video-to-video interactions.
- Users have the option – accept, defer, or decline Chat Box invitations. Each connection may include multiple business participants, enabling richer, more dynamic interactions – bringing an entire business team into the conversation.
Chat Box Is Unique
As more users connect with businesses offering Chat Box direct communication, it’s popularity is expected to rapidly grow. Sessions can start on their own or as follow-up on a prior connecting – whether for sales, support, service or product updates.
Chat Box Privacy
Chat Box privacy rules are different that our standard and are evolving. When, in a store location – an employee having a direct-conversation with the customer – that is quite different than have a conversation over media (such as unmonitored phone). Either party – that of the user or that of the business employee might accidentally or knowingly violate what our conversation exchange policies – even to the extent of break laws.
Our current policy is that all Chat Box conversations are recorded (and some monitored in real-time) with each – both the user and the business receiving a transcript of the conversation.
After the Chat Box connection is complete – we will use our toolsets to determine if any policy standards are abused, and take corrective action.

- Conversation Saving: You can choose to save Chat Box connections, including attachments, for later review, similar to voicemail.
- Attachment Exchange: Chat Box connections support real-time attachment sharing, allowing both businesses and you to exchange files instantly.

- Device Compatibility: The feature requires compatible device capabilities. Businesses can verify each user’s device compatibility before they initiate communication.

Chat Box Fees
We offer Chat Box as a feature service. The fees are small – to cover costs for text-to-text or voice-to-voice. Video requires higher band-widths with fees based on the length of the connection.
