Receive Messages

  • The Receive Messages process is the initial point of contact between users and the business, but it is more than a pass-through mechanism. It is a secure, cloud-based pipeline that decrypts, interprets, and categorizes messages before they are released into the business cloud database.

  • Messages can arrive containing a variety of formats – text, voice recordings, pictures, or video – and each is accepted under input standards enforced by the our Gateway interface. These constraints are designed to preserve message clarity, promote single-message clarity over bundled complexity, and streamline downstream workflows.

  • Once submitted by the user, all content flows through the Gateway, where it is decrypted, validated, and processed before being securely delivered. This structured handoff allows for rapid, encrypted transmission, ensures data isolation, and gives businesses full ownership and control over message storage and further processing.

End-to-End Encryption and Privacy by Design

All messages – regardless of type are encrypted on the user’s device and remain so until they reach the platform Gateway. This preserves end-to-end confidentiality, ensuring that no intermediaries or third-party tools can access message content in transit.

The Gateway decrypts the message under strict security policies and immediately begins processing it with respect to privacy rules, content type, and business-defined preferences. By supporting user control and secure handling by design, the platform complies with leading data protection laws while earning user trust.

High-Speed Delivery / Cloud Infrastructure

The use of cloud-native architecture on both sides – our Gateway infrastructure and the business-owned data layer – allows for fast message transmission, validation, and acknowledgment. There is no lag between a user pressing “send” and the business receiving a decrypted, structured version of the message.

This speed enables near real-time engagement, fast queuing, and short response cycles. In operational terms, it allows businesses to appear agile, responsive, and connected, all while managing high message volumes securely and efficiently.

Multi-Modal Interpretation: Beyond Just Text

Receive Messages service doesn’t stop at delivering content. It also interprets and converts media formats into usable business inputs—enabling truly intelligent communication at scale:

  • Speech-to-text transcription is applied to audio messages, including quality scoring and confidence levels.
  • Video content is parsed for embedded audio (transcribed) and tagged using video classification services.
  • Images are scanned using object detection and contextual tagging (e.g., receipt scans, product damage, handwritten notes).
  • Language translation is provided automatically when the message is not in English or Spanish; additional languages can be supported as an extended service.

By offering structured outputs across all formats, our platform empowers businesses to treat every kind of customer message as actionable and process-ready.

Extended Metadata and Attribute Enrichment

As messages are processed, they can be enhanced with premium (fee) attributes and metadata, depending on the customer’s subscription level and rules. These may include urgency scoring, intent classification, tone detection, behavioral signals, and even sentiment layering based on audio inflection or visual cues.

These enriched attributes are passed along to Message Management, allowing smarter routing and faster resolution, as well as feeding into dashboards and analytics systems for operational insights. This modular enrichment capability allows companies to unlock more value from their messages without changing how users communicate.
